On May 1, 2001, the Linden/Bartels & Noe Agency of Greeley merged with the Fort Collins office of the Linden Company of Northern Colorado to form a new entity,
LBN Insurance Agency.
Bartels & Noe was formed in 1970 when E.F. Bartels and Norm Noe merged the two insurance companies that originated with their fathers in the 1920s and 1940s. The office primarily focused on general business insurance, agriculture risks, and personal lines insurance.
The Linden Company was founded by Paul Linden in the mid 1960s. Specializing in providing insurance and surety products to the construction industry, the agency grew to include operations in Fort Collins, Grand Junction, and Pueblo. In 1994, the Linden Company acquired Bartels & Noe.
Even though construction trades remained the company’s primary emphasis, manufacturing, retail, service industries and general business became an important part of the agency’s clientele. In 1999, the primary operation for the Linden Company was sold to a large national broker, Hobbs Group, thus providing the opportunity for the establishment of LBN Insurance Agency.
In 2000, LBN Insurance Agency purchased the Pratkelis Agency of Estes Park, CO, enabling the company to offer a full range of services to the Estes Park community.
LBN Insurance Agency continues the strong tradition established by the Linden Company and Bartels & Noe. The dedication and experience of our staff of insurance professionals enables us to provide creative, professional, and cost-effective insurance and bonding solutions to our clients.
