Management
Dave Janssen
Managing Member - Commercial Agent
After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado in 1985, Dave began his insurance career in Loveland. Dave has over 20 years of commercial insurance experience. During that time he focused on protecting business owner's assets, opened and managed a branch office including agency sales manager and became a partner in a regional independent insurance agency. Dave joined LBN Insurance in October 2008. He and his wife are active in the community and reside in Windsor. They are proud parents of three college age children.
Clare Schachter
CIC, Director of Operations, PFS Insurance Group, LLC
Clare has been a respected member of the Colorado insurance community since 1979 and serves as a director on the board of the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado. She came on board at PFS in October, 2008. Clare has held underwriting, marketing, client service, product and agency management positions in both the agency and company arenas in metropolitan Denver, northern and western Colorado. Clare’s responsibilities include the direction of overall operations efficiency and effectiveness of all PFS Insurance Group agencies as well as our insurance carrier relationships.
Vicie Reales
CISR, CIC, CRM, CPIW, DAE, Agency Operations Manager
Vicie began her insurance career in the late 1970’s. She has served in management roles for both insurance companies and agencies. She joined the LBN team in May, 2009. Vicie’s role at LBN Insurance is to maintain an efficient, consistent and result-oriented office, with exceptional customer service internally and externally. Her mission is to help our insured’s feel safe and secure by creating a friendly, helpful and qualified customer service team. Vicie’s interests are spending time with her grandchildren in North Carolina, rock collecting with her husband, reading, knitting, playing with her Himalayan cat Misty and of course studying insurance.
John Hemstock
Accounting Manager, PFS Insurance Group, LLC
John joined PFS in February, 2009. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2001 with a Masters of Finance degree and is currently pursuing his Masters of Accounting. John is responsible for the accounting functions and oversight of all of our PFS Insurance Group agencies. He has previously held accounting and finance positions with a multiple location retail organization and an energy-related company.

Shawn Wotowey
CLCS, Commercial Agent , Healthcare Specialist
Shawn offers a broad management perspective after more than 15 years experience in the healthcare industry, of which 9 were spent as Chief Executive Officer of large physician group practices. Shawn’s extensive management background affords our healthcare clients a unique opportunity to work with a professional that is exclusively focused on the medical professional liability, management liability and business liability insurance needs of their organization. A graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree, Shawn earned the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation in 2006. He currently serves on the executive committee of Colorado Healthcare Strategy & Management (CHSM) and is an active member of the Colorado Ambulatory Surgery Association (CASCA) and the Colorado Medical Group Management Association (CMGMA).
Keith Benner
Commercial Agent
Keith joined the LBN team in 2008, bringing with him over 15 years experience in sales and management. He began his insurance career in 1993 with an independent agency in Ohio and continued in the industry after moving to Colorado in 1998. In 2005 he started and managed his own independent agency in the Loveland area before joining LBN. Keith is involved in the community and is active in the Loveland Rotary Club. He is married and the proud father of four daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys sports and spending time with family and friends.
Tad Borrett, CIC
Commercial Agent
A Fort Collins native and graduate of Rocky Mountain High School, Tad rejoined LBN Insurance in 2006 after a hiatus of 12 years, during which he worked in the investment and funeral industries. He is a board member for the Colorado Adoption Center and has served as secretary for the Fort Collins Sertoma Club. He lives with his wife and three children in Windsor, CO.
John Hintzman
Commercial Agent
John joined the team at LBN Insurance in November 2008. John's wide range of commercial insurance experience includes working at the country's largest workers' compensation insurance carrier, a large commercial agency, agency ownership and now as a commercial insurance producer at LBN Insurance. John is an active member of the Mountain States Better Business Bureau, Colorado BioScience Association, UniverCity Connections and the Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary. John is a graduate of Colorado State University. He and his wife Carrie are parents of three very active children.
Patrick Hagge, CSP, ARM, ALCM
Director of Safety and Loss Control
Pat started with LBN Insurance in November 2008. He is a Certified Safety Professional, and has been in the insurance loss control field since 1986. Not only does he bring experience on the insurance agency side, be brings a depth of knowledge of insurance companies being previously with Safeco and The Hartford. As well as his professional designations, he is a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers. Pat has provided consultative services to companies in a wide variety of industries including health care, manufacturing, construction, service and retail. His technical expertise, coupled with his ability to listen and understand customer needs, allows LBN to provide this valuable service and resource to our clients.

Gail Gubernick
Receptionist
Gail joined LBN Insurance as a receptionist in 2001. Prior to moving to Colorado, she and her husband owned and operated a rental plant and landscape nursery in Miami, FL. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Rae Campbell
Commercial Lines Account Manager
Rae started in the insurance industry in 1979. She continued her career when she joined the LBN Insurance organization. Rae's favorite pastime is spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Stella Ferris
Commercial Lines Account Associate
Stella joined LBN Insurance in 1998. Her responsibilities include marketing, assisting CSAs with accounts, accounting, and other office duties. Prior to joining LBN Insurance, Stella worked for Woodmen Accident & Life for 18 months. She is an avid fan of the outdoors, enjoying water sports and camping.
Pat Lechman
Commercial Lines Account Manager
With more than 30 years of insurance agency experience, Pat has produced and managed large and small commercial and personal lines business. She joined LBN Insurance in 2002 and now services the “Select Accounts” business. She enjoys spending time with her son and his family and is passionate about music.
Nettie Martinez-Roybal
Commercial Lines Account Associate
Nettie began her insurance career in 1984 as a Customer Service Representative. She brings her years of experience from agencies and companies in Texas and Colorado. She joined the LBN team in 2003 as a commercial lines assistant and computer support specialist. Nettie and her family are natives of Colorado and spend a majority of the summers watching her son play baseball.
Jill Seymour Rocks
Commercial Lines Account Manager
Joining the LBN Insurance team in 2004 gave Jill the opportunity to expand her knowledge of the surety bond business, but she was not a stranger to the insurance industry. She began her career as a licensed CSA in 1994 in Napa, CA.
Julia Lockhart
Commercial Lines Account Manager
Julia started working in the insurance industry in 1999 as an accountant for an agency in Sterling, CO. Shortly thereafter, she became a licensed agent for Property & Casualty, Life & Health. She joined LBN Insurance in 2006 after moving from Sterling. She is the proud mother of five. Julia and her husband operate a manufactured custom motorcycle business near Longmont, CO.
Brenda Adams
Commercial Lines Account Manager
Brenda came to LBN Insurance in 2005 where she services the select account business. She brought to LBN over 5 years experience in an independent agency setting. She resides in Greeley, CO, with her two dogs and enjoys the outdoors, hockey, and shopping.
Karen Holbrook
Commercial Lines Account Manager
Karen began her insurance career as an underwriter after graduating from the University of Florida and then took a break to raise her three children. In 2003, she and her family moved to Colorado and she resumed her insurance career by joining LBN Insurance. Karen is currently pursuing her CIC designation. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, reading, football, and spending time with her family.
Jennifer Bond, CISR
Commercial Lines Account Associate
Coming from a long line of insurance brokers, Jennifer began her insurance career in 2001 at her family's independent insurance agency in Monrovia, California. She joined LBN Insurance in 2008 and loves living in Fort Collins. Jennifer enjoys cooking, singing, and playing her keyboard in a children's radio show.
Pam Knespel, CISR
Personal Lines Account Manager
Pam began her career as a receptionist for an insurance agency in 1987 and then moved into the personal lines department in 1988. She joined LBN Insurance in 2003. Pam enjoys scrapbooking and reading. She is married with one daughter who is active in school activites, sports and girl scouts.
Rula Kearns
Personal Lines Account Manager
Specializing in customer service, Rula started her career in the insurance industry in 2001 with American Family Insurance in Nebraska as a licensed agent. After moving to Colorado in 2006, she decided to continue her career in the insurance field, specializing in Personal Lines. Rula resides in Johnstown with her husband and two daughters and is still an avid HUSKER fan!
