Mike Pierce, CIC
Managing Member – Owner/Commercial Agent
Mike began his insurance career in 1984 in Loveland. His focus is helping northern Colorado business owners structure creative, comprehensive and cost effective insurance programs to protect their assets. Mike serves on the National Board of Directors of Associated Risk Managers (ARM), Pinnacol Assurance’s Association Advisory Council, and is Chairman of the Mountain States Better Business Bureau’s Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program. An active member of the community, Mike is the Founder of Colorado State University’s Legacy of Champions Scholarship Program and serves on the University’s Development Council. He is Chairman of the Mountain States Better Business Bureau’s Board of Directors and is involved with the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce serving on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. He and his wife have a blended family of five children and reside in Fort Collins, CO.
Tad Borrett
Commercial Agent
A Fort Collins native and graduate of Rocky Mountain High School, Tad rejoined LBN Insurance in 2006 after a hiatus of 12 years, during which he worked in the investment and funeral industries. He is a board member for the Colorado Adoption Center and has served as secretary for the Fort Collins Sertoma Club. He lives with his wife and three children in Windsor, CO.
Robert Bubnich
Sales / Claims Manager
Robert joined LBN Insurance in 2002. He worked as an underwriter since 1985 for companies that include American International Group Marketing, Pinnacol Assurance and Safeco Business Insurance. He and his wife reside in Windsor with their four children and enjoy everything outdoors.
K. John Shockley
Commercial Agent
A Wisconsin native, John joined LBN insurance in 2006 and brings over 25 years of experience to the team. He started his career as a commercial lines underwriter in Atlanta, GA. He was then a sales agent in Wisconsin and Florida and owned and operated his own agency. John resides in Fort Collins, CO.
Kirk Johnston
Commercial Agent
Kirk joined LBN Insurance Agency in January of 2007 where he is focusing on mid to large agricultural and commercial business. Prior to joining LBN, Kirk worked for John Deere, Colorado Machinery, and Sentry Insurance Companies where he specialized in comprehensive insurance packages for agricultural equipment, industrial equipment and auto dealerships. He is a native of Colorado and an avid outdoorsman with an average green thumb. He enjoys these activities with his wife and daughters.

Gail Gubernick
Receptionist
Gail joined LBN Insurance as a receptionist in 2001. Prior to moving to Colorado, she and her husband owned and operated a rental plant and landscape nursery in Miami, FL. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Tessa Cox
Receptionist/Accounting & CSA Assistant
Tessa joined the LBN team in 2005 after her employment with StarTek. She began her insurance career with LBN as a receptionist, and has now assumed positions as an accounting assistant and assistant CSA. She is looking forward to the challenging opportunities awaiting her as she embarks on her new career in the insurance industry. Tessa enjoys outdoor sports, travel and family activities.
Rae Campbell
Operations Manager/Commercial Lines CSA
As the operations manager, Rae is charged with ensuring everyone receives exceptional customer service. She started in the insurance industry in 1979. She continued her career when she joined the LBN Insurance Organization. Rae's favorite pastime is spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Stella Ferris
Business Placement CSA
Stella joined LBN Insurance in 1998. Her responsibilities include marketing, assisting CSAs with accounts, accounting, and other office duties. Prior to joining LBN Insurance, Stella worked for Woodmen Accident & Life for 18 months. She is an avid fan of the outdoors, enjoying water sports and camping.
Pat Lechman
Select Accounts Commercial Manager/CSA
With more than 30 years of insurance agency experience, Pat has produced and managed large and small commercial and personal lines business. She joined LBN Insurance in 2002 and now services the “Select Accounts” business. She enjoys spending time with her son and his family and is passionate about music.
Nettie Martinez-Roybal
Assistant CSA/Computer System Support Specialist
Nettie began her insurance career in 1984 as a Customer Service Representative. She brings her years of experience from agencies and companies in Texas and Colorado. She joined the LBN team in 2003 as a commercial lines assistant and computer support specialist. Nettie and her family are natives of Colorado and spend a majority of the summers watching her son play baseball.
Jill Seymour Rocks
Bond Department/Surety Advisor
Joining the LBN Insurance team in 2004 gave Jill the opportunity to expand her knowledge of the surety bond business, but she was not a stranger to the insurance industry. She began her career as a licensed CSA in 1994 in Napa, CA.
Julia Lockhart
Commercial Lines CSA
Julia started working in the insurance industry in 1999 as an accountant for an agency in Sterling, CO. Shortly thereafter, she became a licensed agent for Property & Casualty, Life & Health. She joined LBN Insurance in 2006 after moving from Sterling. She is the proud mother of five. Julia and her husband operate a manufactured custom motorcycle business near Longmont, CO.
Brenda Adams
Select Accounts CSA
Brenda came to LBN Insurance in 2005 where she services the select account business. She brought to LBN over 5 years experience in an independent agency setting. She resides in Greeley, CO, with her two dogs and enjoys the outdoors, hockey, and shopping.
Karen Holbrook
Commercial Lines CSA
Karen began her insurance career as an underwriter after graduating from the University of Florida and then took a break to raise her three children. In 2003, she and her family moved to Colorado and she resumed her insurance career by joining LBN Insurance. Karen is currently pursuing her CIC designation. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, reading, football, and spending time with her family.

A specialists in customer service, Christie started her insurance career in 1999. She is currently pursuing her AFIS (Agribusiness & Farm Insurance Specialist) designation. Christie has three children and enjoys playing volleyball, vacationing in her home state of Ohio, and watching her children in their sporting activities.
Cindy Miller
Commercial Lines CSA
Cindy has been in commercial lines for over twenty years working mainly on large accounts and bonding. She began her career in Wyoming and now resides outside Wellington with her husband. They both enjoy fishing, boating, 4-wheeling, traveling and their horses.
Pam Knespel, CISR
Personal Lines Manager
Pam began her career as a receptionist for an insurance agency in 1987 and then moved into the personal lines department in 1988. She joined LBN Insurance in 2003. Pam enjoys scrapbooking and reading. She is married with one daughter who is active in school activites, sports and girl scouts.

Mellissa Adams
Accounting Controller
Mellissa started her insurance career in Newport Beach, California in 1998 as a commercial lines assistant for a large agency. She joined LBN Insurance in 2002 and handles the accounting for all the LBN Insurance agencies. She holds licenses in Life/Health and Property/Casualty. She and her husband have 4 children and keep themselves busy with boy scouts, track, cheerleading and high school band.

Julie joined LBN Insurance in 2001 and has experience in both commercial and personal lines. A 22-year resident of Estes Park, CO, she is active in the Rotary Club and is president-elect for 2007. She and her husband have four children. In her spare time, she acts and sings on the local stage.

Receptionist
Paula joined LBN Insurance in April 2006 as a receptionists/CSR Assistant. Prior to that she worked in the hotel industry, most recently as a Director of Sales at the Holiday Inn-Rocky Mountain Park, Estes Park. She enjoys all outdoor activities, singing and acting
Floyd Denton
Personal Lines/Commercial, Life, Health and Disability Agent
Floyd joined LBN Insurance in 2005. He had previously owned and operated his own agency. Prior to joining the company, Floyd spent 18 years as a high school track and field coach, he enjoys spending time with his wife , daughters and grandsons. He is also an avid runner.
Ray Leaycraft
Commercial Agent
After a 30-year career in law enforcement as a SWAT officer, detective for the Garland, Texas Police Department, and a patrol officer in Estes Park, Ray switched gears and joined LBN Insurance in 2003. He and his wife live in Estes Park, CO.
Ron Harris

With over 40 years experience in aviation and related fields, Ron is transitioning to a new career in the insurance industry. Ron, his wife, and son have lived in Colorado for over 20 years and in the Estes Park area for over 10 years. They enjoy travel and outside activities.
Ruby Wise-Walters
Commercial Agent
Ruby joined LBN in 2007 as a commercial lines producer and is excited to join the team of insurance professionals. She brings corporate and agency experience as a direct writer with top companies in the U.S. In 2003 she moved over to the independent side as a commercial producer and holds a Life/ Health, P&C license with a CISR, and CIC designation pending. She and her husband Charles, have a blended family of four boys, and 1 daughter who is currently serving in the US Air Force. We are blessed to have two granddaughters and four grandsons. Ruby has a passion for interior design, the outdoors, football and are active members of their church and community.
